Re: If you use 41.5 gr of H4895 for 168 smk.
No answer there. I am looking for a gas gun load using H4895 and a 175 gr a_max that will give similar results in the gas system to 41.5 H4895 and 168 smk. I guess I'll stick with my 40 gr load.
If you use 41.5 gr of H4895 for 168 smk in your gas gun, what load of H4895 do you use for 175 gr A-Max ?
I am interested in limiting the damage to the gun and I agree with the 41.5 for 168 gr as an upper limit. I am looking for an equivalent load as far as pressure.
Re: AR Phobias from a Bolt Action Guy
I do most of my shooting from a portable bench. I have built an industrial sized brass catcher that sits on the right side of the bench. For stand up play soldier shooting I bought a large tarp to spread out.

I have several rock wiver long arms, all the 1 inch claims turn out to shoot 1/2 moa.
I also have several sbr / pistol setups but have not done long range testing. I have nothing but praise for rock river.
Re: adjusting turrets on 3 - 9 super sniper.

I have read that the 3- 9 supersniper turrets are adjusted with a single screw ( there are not 3 set screws on the sides like the fixed power scopes). I have looked at the stainless device on the top of the turret with a magnifying glass. It does not look like a screw, it does not look like an...
I have a new Rock River lar-8. I know how to tell if the pressure is to great from the point of view of the cartridge, but how would I know if I were beating the gun up unnecessarily.?
First post, been lurking a long time.
I love Burris mounts but have never owned one of their scopes. I was just looking at their laserscopes and wanted to see wha kind of reputation they have with scopes or anyone here had used one of them...
