DTA HTI vs Serbu 50A vs Barrett

Have any of you shot the HTI? I've seen some videos and my main concern is whether or not the bolt action is smooth. Are there any "rapid fire" videos out there to see how smoothly/quickly it could be fired?

DTA HTI vs Serbu 50A vs Barrett

I'm sure there's a posting on this somewhere, but when I try to search the hide, I don't seem to get good results. So...the question I have for those of you that have laid hands on these guns or have a lot of experience in the area is...what are the pro's/con's for each? Below are my initial...

Official (DTA) SRS, HTI, Covert, Hunter Thread

Re: Idea! Official DTA SRS, HTI, Covert, Hunter Th So I got the Harris bipod in the other day and immediately thought how easy it would be to pinch a finger opening/closing the thing. Needless to say, that didn't stop me from continually piddling around with it prior to actually putting it...

Re: Idea! Official DTA SRS, HTI, Covert, Hunter Th Decided to just get the harris bipod. My wife always tells me I can't have the best/most expensive in everything I buy, so I'm trying that theory out to see how it goes. Gotta say I'm pretty excited to get a bipod on my srs too. I use the...

    Lapua Brass $52 @ Cabela's

Re: Lapua Brass $52 @ Cabela's Is the 20% off sale still going on? Been needing some 338 brass, and that'd be a nice $50 savings. Didn't see anything on their site though.

Re: Idea! Official DTA SRS, HTI, Covert, Hunter Th If you're already doing a 338 in 16 for the covert, you may as well add the 375 and 50:-) Now THAT would be the ultimate in urban combat weapons! Nobody sees you...and suddently the building implodes... Seriously though, I really didn't...

New reloading equipment list, opinions on it>

Re: New reloading equipment list, opinions on it> It's not for trimming...which I suppose is ironic given the name. I use it for chamfering, deburing, neck brush, primer pocket uniformer, etc. Works great and saves a ton of time vs doing by hand.

Re: Idea! Official DTA SRS, HTI, Covert, Hunter Th SLN...I'm sure you're tired of that aw50 since you've moved on to the DTA, so if it's taking up too much space in your gun cabinet, I'd be more than happy to store it for you:-) BTW...you probably have some good ranges up in the big d area...

Re: Idea! Official DTA SRS, HTI, Covert, Hunter Th "just slam the bolt the round and it should get it better over a couple hundred rounds or so once its broken in" REALLY??? That seems like an insane response to me. Basically saying my $6k rifle won't work properly until I put $400-$1000...

Re: Idea! Official DTA SRS, HTI, Covert, Hunter Th Ok, apparently the case sizing isn't my issue. With the 338, I fire a cartridge and it doesn't eject. But...if I pull the bolt back and tip the gun up, the case slides right now. Thoughts?

Re: Idea! Official DTA SRS, HTI, Covert, Hunter Th Thanks Dogtown. I was thinking a full resize may have alleviated the issue, so I I'll give that a try. As an aside, I really didn't like the IMR-4350 for my 308 as the results were a bit inconsistent. The RE15 and RE25 seem solid though...
