    VA refi lender?

    Try NBKC...National Bank of Kansas City. They have a good reputation for VA loans. I used them about 5 years ago for a home purchase and almost again last year for a refi. My current loan service company was able to offer a competitive streamline refi I went with instead.

    I stopped by my local Sportsman’s Warehouse today for some small pistol primers....completely wiped out. Lowest stock I’ve seen there in general. They had limits on all shooting stuff. Surprised the hell out of me! Glad that Powder Valley has what I needed in stock, so ordered online.

    No, the Win 70 is 22.5” with a factory HV 12 twist. It shoots slower than the Savage, but the fast lot was consistently faster in both rifles.

    The consistency is my reasoning to buy a few cases for a stash. I’ll just have to test each lot to know the data, but I was surprised by the difference. I had a 175 load for my FN SPR that ran 2700 and shot well.

    My Dad, born 1945, got polio from a dirty swimming pool when he was 4 or 5. Spent nearly a year bedridden and has a severely curved spine to this day (age 73). The doctors all said he’d be in a wheelchair by his 20’s, but he’s still walking around and working hard. Always amazes me.

    They need to be “featureless” as far as I understand. I think the registration period for assault weapons ended, so any new CA residents would be unable to have anything but featureless. I work in CA during the summers and don’t mess with bringing an AR, just a pistol with 10 rd mags.
