    pros and cons of full length hand guard on AR

    I always try to go full length when I can, unless I have a can that won't fit beneath the rail or if the can overlaps the barrel. A full length rail doesn't add that ,much weight. The barrel contour is what you'll feel. With that being said, not every rifle I have has full length rails.
