    LMT .308 MWS

    Natural light or strobes? Nice shooting and nice photo! I need to get out my 16" chrome lined and do some load development. It shot just under an inch at 100 yards with Hornady 178 BTHPs and one trial charge weight. It feels like it could be a hammer, especially for such a hard wearing barrel.

    No problem, I would just get a quality 16" medium weight barrel for your described use.

    If you want to put a longer barrel on your AR10, I would consider a Proof Carbon barrel to keep it less front heavy. I have a Proof Carbon 22" 6.5CM on another AR10, it's pretty nicely balanced with the carbon barrel.

    I have a LMT 308 with a 16 inch and 18 inch barrels. Out to 400 max, I would probably go 16 inch unless you are shooting smaller critters out at that range. As long as you have the gas optimized, the mid-length isn't significantly worse than the rifle length to manage.

    This is the purpose of those marks on your upper and lower. It allows for a custom fit between lower and upper. What some people complain about these days is hilarious.

    Night Vision IR illuminator for KN253

    I like the Kiji 3 degree myself. It comes with a diffusor cap for a 10 degree throw that is mainly useful for up close work with a laser and helmet mounted NV. For use with a clip-on, I leave the cap flipped to the side in 3 degree mode. It is very bright, compact, and light.

    I have not used a 80mm. I have a 60 and enjoy the compact nature of that scope. Most of the time I have it at around 20 power anyway.

    N133 and the 53 Vmax is a match made in heaven. And yes this load shoots great in my 1:7 barrels. N140 is fantastic with the 77 SMK/TMK.
