Re: Best caliber/rifle for 600-1000 yards. Looks like my next boomer will be a Savage in .338 Laupa. I have found a spot where one can get out to at least 900 yards, maybe a bit further. no pain no gain The Rock

Re: Best caliber/rifle for 600-1000 yards. I had a .300 WM in a Ruger #1. Recoil was not bad. It would group 3/4" at 100 yards, 1 1/2" at 300. What a boomer
