    Thanks guys. I did check that the bullet was not jammed into the rifling. I have measured several pieces of brass. I can give measurements if this helps. Did not compare fired with resized at this point. Loaded 5 rounds tonight with virgin brass and started with 5 rounds once fired reset...

    Greg at SPR in Florida "AKA Bugholes" needs mentioning here. He is on the Hide and his work is outstanding. The action work and barreling he did for me on a .308 build truely resulted in bugholes. Looks like someone mentioned him a few posts up but I will agian!

    Dents The actual term used in the reloading industry is "Oil Dents" and yes it is from too much lube. This shouldn't affect the round to a great deal after firing this will obviously be fire formed out.

    Regular full lenght size dies or small base dies? If you have a friend with a set of small base dies try resizing with the small base. Then reload with your normal charge my guess on the fix!

    I have three rifles that came with X-Mark triggers two were absolute junk and the third one is awesome. Adjusts fine and is crisp and performs well. Even as good as it is it is not long for my safe it will be replaced with a Jewell.

    Do not quote me on all this information but I recall "Boots" as the inventor of 5R rifling and I think he produces most if not all his barrels in that geometry and he calls his M24 contour AMU. I did not look any of this up but you can hit his websight and the info should be there.
