    How does one validate this? That's the only logical outcome I can arrive at. That something mechanical went wrong with the scope.

    I had my Garmin mounted to the rig during the session. The MV stayed around the average of 2960 for this load, and the SD through the day was about 41 at the highest. The average was around 15.

    The handload has been the same recipe since the barrel was new. I shot about 50 rounds today with no POI shift. After the impact shift, I used the same ammo through the second zero process. The total number of rounds shot today was around 75.

    My very first thought when I came back from 900 yards that I didn’t drop my dial. But I confirmed all turrets were brought back to zero and still impact was 8 mil high.
