Hunting & Fishing Factory 6.5 CM rifles.

I have the Savage 16 weather warrior... Accustock, accutrigger. It is light and shoots really well with the 140 match ammo. I just got a bunch of the Berger 140 Hunting VLD's, so I need to work up a load for those.

Hunting & Fishing Experience with remote for Foxpro Wildfire?

Photographers have had this issue since the things went crazy with electronics and motor drives. Batteries suck in weather that cold. Keep the remote in your inner pocket to keep it warm, lithiums are a good hedge, but not a cure. Fresh warm lithium batts are the best bet.

    Checking headspace

Do not force the close on the no go gauge. There's a method involving removing the extractor from the bolt ( I think) otherwise you will have a bolt partially closed on a no go gauge and a real bitch getting it back out. Google it or let someone here tell ya.

    any keltec sub2000 love?

I have the Glock 9mm version. My quick impression. Front sight is shit, blade fell out first session. Ordered a replacement for it that was a mussel device and ar style front that is what it should have shipped with. Google foo would remind me where it came from. Stock pull is too short for a...

Question: was just told that I could not use a DPMS pattern 308 BCG in any DPMS 308 barrel

You can also rent headspace guages.. I rented the ones for my 6.5 creedmoor build from these guys, Elk Ridge Reamer Rentals (800) 996-0426 ... cheap, fast and easy to do.

Experiences with 6.5 Creedmoor in a gas gun

It was the Fulton barrel. It showed up in two days... no wait, no muss, no fuss... It is the 1-8 twist. I don't know what issues that will cause with 120's. They are all I have shot so far but I have not pressed them out past 600 yet. Seems to shoot the crap out of them under 600.

Experiences with 6.5 Creedmoor in a gas gun

I converted my .308 LAR DPMS with a 26 inch Kreiger in 6.5 creedmore. So far I have only run 120's with no issues whatsoever. They feed perfectly from factory steel, or p-mags.. Have 140 Amaxes and some Sierras to reload now so we will see how the primers hold up. It shoots sooooo nice and will...

What bore guide for AR 10 (DPMS LR) for 6.5 creedmoor chamber?

Was kinda wondering the same thing.. Only difference is the length of the "case" section would be shorter on a Creedmoor.

What bore guide for AR 10 (DPMS LR) for 6.5 creedmoor chamber?

    **ROUND2 !!**, (100YARD), Semi-Auto, 6group, 30round SHOOTOUT!

Not as easy as it looks... As the title says... "not as easy as it looks" This is my first attempt at any comp like this. 30 shots on paper is a chore. I had this rifle with open sights on it and put a bench rest scope on it for our local Varmint Silhouette matches. It is the most accurate...

OK, this is rediculous! How does a guy get any trigger time with this crap?

Paint the steel black and you get nice high contrast targets!

    AR barrels.

How did you get through to Fulton?

    Ruger 77/357

I have tried many loads, from Sierra 170 grn silhouette, to light weight xtp's, and lots in between (all in .357 mag). Mine just is not consistent. 100 yard groups have ranged from an inch, to four inches, with a good scope, and a Jard trigger. I am unsure where the inconsistency is coming from...

Reloading a .357 Magnum Target round

Re: Reloading a .357 Magnum Target round I had wondered about the ability to use Small rifle instead of magnum. I have thousands of small pistol and thousands of small rifle match, but no pistol magnums.. Where do you look up the actual differences between the primer types?

Reloading a .357 Magnum Target round

Re: Reloading a .357 Magnum Target round Well, after testing several powder loads... With the 158 XTP's, I settled on 16.1 grains of W296. It was the most accurate of the different powder loads with that bullet in my gun. It shoots OK for a practice round. On a crap day it held a good...
