    It's the most accurate factory ammo I've found out of my preferred barrel(1-12), and my factory tikka barrel(1-14).

    Also have to look at velocity as well. I've shot the 50 gr vmax at 3800+ out of my 22-250, and the performance was horrible. I had more runners with that combo than I had in all the previous years combined. But you slow it down to 223 speed and it is an effective bullet.

    223 73 gr eldm at 2800 < 243 75 gr vmax at 3600. Max range is 500 yds, but I'm guessing majority will be inside 300. I'll take speed at that distance. Just hold on fur and dump them. Because coyotes usually don't give you a lot of time to check your dope.

    Same here. A lot times they have to stop and look back at least once, as long as they didn't smell you.

    Coyotes were working good today. Made 5 stands and killed 7 coyotes by noon. Hate to quit early on days like this, but had family coming over in the afternoon.

    Pretty slow morning. Called in a pair on the first stand. Shot the one hanging back in hopes to pull the aggressive one back in, with no such luck. Then blanked the second and third stand.

    That's a good point. Mine was threaded for a silencerco harvester, so I didn't have to worry about that. But you do have to pay attention to the muzzle device you plan using.
