    I shot my first 200 Yard Prone Match on Saturday

    May I ask which 455 and scope do you have? I've actually started picking up interest in smallbore and looking into either getting an varmint or precision trainer. It's now hard for me to get to range past 300 and think smallbore will a good fit.

    Hey Kid, How do you like your 455 Varmint? I'm looking into getting one but on the fence between the 455 Varmint and 455 Precision Trainer. When you bought your rifle were you also deciding between the two?

    You mean the Varmint? Yeah, I'm thinking the Varmint "as is" would be a good trainer. Then later save more money and get a nice stock and other "goodies."

    The CZ American is nice. I'm in sort of the same boat at you. However, I'm looking into either 455 Varmint or 455 Precision Trainer. Just can't seem to justify the extra $500 for the 455 Precision Trainer. You should looking into those 2 models as well.
