    If you're trying to remain in base, options are limited. The 2 things I personally would recommend trying are a plate (Gray Ops, DST, homemade 3D) and yes do what you can to balance your rifle as best as possible.

    Dried out C4 on any trigger will cause issues. It's a known issue. The key is not to over saturate the patch and it won't drip out. Though, I do place a peice of cut out plastic from a my kids toys packaging over the trigger area.

    Those results are pretty typical. I get 1066 out of my 20 inch 16T with SK Standard +. Using the same lot my Lothar 22 inch 12T gets 1040 when used for practice ammo. My standard match ammo is SK LRM which gets 1090 in the Lothar. All speeds at the same pressure and mid 40s temps.
