    Need advise on .308 load

    I've had good luck using an RCBS primer pocket swager to tighten up loose primer pockets, just keep screwing it down untill the primers seat with enough resistance.

    As you're shooting an AR platform you'll need to keep the expander ball in place as the case mouths will take a beating and be deformed. That's my experiance shooting AR's, especialy my LR308.     Not exactly what you're asking for, but I load 44 grs varget with a 168 Amax in Winchester brass and have over 10 loadings on said brass, having annealed once at the fifth loading. I've read others using 42-44 grs with 175 grn bullets with no problems.

    If you're talking about the crossbolts, 40 in/lbs. 25 in/lbs for the ring screws themselves. That's what I use.

    Re: Geissele I put the high speed match in my varminter AR and love it. 2 pound take up and 8oz letoff. Heaven. Put the DMR's in my MK12 clones and LR308. Besides mil-spec its the only trigger I've used in an AR, I just don't see the point of trying another. YMMV
