    Gunsmithing Cerakote question

Thanks for the reply, home made seems to be a pretty easy and inexpensive way to go, I just worry about consistency in temperature and being able to avoid hot spots during the process. I'm pretty new to the whole thing so just trying to figure out the best approach.

    Gunsmithing Cerakote question

Does anyone have any experience with shel lab ovens for cerakote curing application. They're quite pricy and I'm sure a great product but just curious about it being worth the investment over home made.

    Custom Stock Work

In terms of detail I guess it just depends, what I'm wanting is a dark pattern with some wicked looking skulls, like something evil looking. The action I'll be using is the deviant action from defiance and I guess they come polished and shiny, it would be cool to keep it that way with a polished...

    Load Data Question

Re: Load Data Question This may be a wierd or dumb question but is there some type of formula in determining the proper burn rate/powder for a given cartridge/bullet weight or is this just one of those things thats just kind of a hit or miss situation?

    Berger 185gr. Juggernaut?

Re: Berger 185gr. Juggernaut? Thats good to hear. I would like to use them for both actually. I know they are not hunting specific bullets but then again neither are the 230 otm's and I put down a big bull oryx and it was a pretty devastating wound.

I killed this bull a week ago and was wanting to have the taxidermist fix the horns, he figured this bull had to have been least 39" or 40". Does anyone have any idea as to how long these horns would've been?
