    3400, 3440...close enough, and the. 375 ruger case holds 95g of water. I think it will be exceptional for a hunting rifle. The barrel would last the average hunter a lifetime easy.     Trying to decide on 500-1000 yrd bolt gun. Suggestions please.

    I picked up a savage 11 long range hunter model in 6.5 creedmoor and could not be happier. Spoter wt. Barrel, adj. Cheek piece, andsub moa with factory ammo, way better with handloads.     Anybody tried the "Grendel" 123Amax w/ the 6.5 CM?

    I am shooting creed and same question arose with me. 95 vmax, 120amax, 130, 140 bergers,140 nos cc all shoot extremly well, so i tried the higher bc 123 amax and can not get a decent group.     6.5 CM or 260 Rem

    The .260 has more capacity, but the c.m.'s bullets can be seated farther into the case w/o goi.g past the shoulder, so that more than makes up for it. I've been buyi g 120amax for around 20 a box, sub moa factory and sub 1/2 moa reloads in a stock savage long range hunter. Love mine very much...

    Re: Tricks to mount optic perfectly horizontal? I was at the lake one day, when I realised I had the biggest level in the world right in front of me. Leveled the gun in a vise and lined up the horizontal line with the water. Worked great! (if you are ever in a pinch without all your equipment)
