    I'm aware that some work can be done to the factory trigger, but my main interest in the Xtreme is because it's a safe two-stage. As far as I can find through my limited research, the Xtreme is the only one that fits the bill.

    Kinda, but not really. The fluting on the finished barrel doesn't extend to the end, so chopping a 24" down wouldn't look right because the flutes would extend to the end. Besides that cosmetic difference, it would look similar. I also don't know if there's a difference between Mk22 and MRAD...

    I need to give Armageddon Gear a call and see if there's enough interest to make an MRAD barrel bag. I'm thinking a padded bag than can hold 3 barrels with bolts and a few mags. With 5 MRAD barrels in my stable, it's hard to keep them organized. First world problems, I know.

    Current EJ prefix guns need the breech conversion kit because the kit contains a bolt body without the captured bolt pin. The older barrels you're referring to have a bolt which isn't notched, hence it won't fit in your current EJ prefix gun with a captured bolt pin. You don't need the guides...
