    I was prostaff for the Leupold national distributor and did not hear of much in the way of failures from the gun stores or the reps @ RSR. It has been a few years though so it may have changed.

    OP has made his decision but FWIW, I sold my VX-5 HD CCH and bought a Burris XTR 3-18. On top of SFP the CDS ZL2 turret is limited to one revolution so you’ll never get the full elevation. Likely not an issue on a FUDD rifle but deal breaker for me.
