    I would say both would do the job at 550. My ZCO 527 can spot holes at 500 when the weather is right, although it is better than most cheaper spotters.

    7-08 162 A-Max - 2640 - 39.8g Varget AI 166 A-Tip- 2784 - 42.85g Varget Exact same barrel and action, just rechambered and 1/8th in shorter. I don’t know if that’s good or bad in your eyes, but it’s real data.

    7-08 AI. Best thing I ever did after owning 6 standard 7-08s. Get the SAC Modular sizing die and use a regular 7-08 seater.
