Rifle Scopes Need help picking a scope $2000 or less

Good info! I never realized that. I figured if the magnification and objective lenses were the same, the FOV would be the same.

Ok, now I see that. I guess I was a little late to the party. On Amazon the 7c is $100 cheaper anyways.

Rifle Scopes Need help picking a scope $2000 or less

Awesome input! This will be my first scope with anything other than a basic crosshair. So the reticle will be all new to me. The reticle that caught my eye was the “2c”? I believe that’s what they refer to it as. Again, outstanding input. I greatly appreciate you taking the time to help out.

Rifle Scopes Need help picking a scope $2000 or less

Thank you for your input. My main doubt with the Razor was quality and clarity of glass compared to NF/Leupold/US Optics etc...I do own a set of Razor binoculars and really do like those. This will be my highest end optic I’ve purchased. Best scope to date was a Swarovski 3-18x50 with the...

Thank you! Weight is a non factor for me. Any way you could expand on why you choose the Razor over the NF?

Rifle Scopes Need help picking a scope $2000 or less

I appreciate the quick reply! I do admit that is a brand that I know absolutely nothing about. Very interesting though. I see they are made in Japan? Is that a brand that has been holding up well?

Rifle Scopes Need help picking a scope $2000 or less

I’m setting up my Larue Tactical OBR with an 18 inch barrel for Coyote hunting. My absolute limit on what I can spend on a scope is $2,000. I’m really liking the idea of the 2.5-20x50 offerings from Nightforce NX8 and the US Optics TS-20. I like the wide FOV of being able to drop all the way...

Awesome! When you say you strapped it in, what do you mean? Actually strapped it in?

Caldwell Lead Sled vs Fire Control full length rifle rests

Ok thanks. Just saw the Lead Sled FXC, seems like they combined the two designs. I have a Harris bipod, but I've never used a bag with it. I haven't been able to hold it that still. So I was looking at a rest. Can you hold it just as still with a bi pod and a sand bag, as you can in the lead sled?

Caldwell Lead Sled vs Fire Control full length rifle rests

Side note, I'm not competing or anything, just looking for the best system to see what kind of groups I can get with my rifles.

Caldwell Lead Sled vs Fire Control full length rifle rests

Curious if any one has used either of these rests for sighting in or working up loads. I already know the main differences between the two. I'm just curious if any of you have had any experience with either of these rests. The 360 degree arm is a neat feature on the Fire Control, but I'm not...
