    My HMR works fine with Pmags. They are the cheapest option and with magazines being expendable items, they make the most sense to me.

    Nothing nearly so nice. I have an Estwing Hawk that I beat the shit out of on the regular. For a practical niche tool it is extremely practical. I'd feel bad working over one of your hawks.

    Like many, I add a foamie ear plug in my right ear underneath the muffs. Don't have to with an AR or anything, just the bolt gun.

    The Cold Steel Spetsnaz shovel is pretty nice. Used it for quite some time now. Can also be sharpened somewhat to do some emergency hacking at things.

    I’ve got a WP PVS-14. When I am wearing contacts, everything is fine. But when I wear my glasses, which are Wiley X brand, transition lenses with all sorts of high speed coatings, the image takes on a much more dull and almost green look, and seems much less sharp. I’m wondering if anybody else...

    It was a good range. A friend had a membership there, and I shot my first match there. Basically where I started learning how to shoot a bolt gun.

    I use Slip2000 for my AR and Glock. It runs in the cold, hot, and has no issues being dirty. Just give it plenty. @shoobe01 in regards to those rifles, the owner was warned. Instead of the armorer's advice, he went with how it was done down south at "the other place."

    I just got into precision rifle stuff, so Ill not comment on scopes. Red dots, Ive got about 12 years of professional use. Those have been between the Aimpoint CompM4 and the Eotech 512 mostly. I give a slight edge to the CompM4 only because Ive abused one much more than I have the Eotech...

    HSGI Tacos are the jam. Go from AR to AK to AICS with no issues.

    To be honest, until we get to the point where we are using directed energy weapons, this is how I feel about any pistol release. I'm not sure there is a ton of room to maneuver on "innovation," at least not that is truly useful to most people.
