Which 308 gasser should I buy? Accuracy is a big factor on my selection.

I'm not an expert shooter by any means but I do see a lot of LaRues since I live in the Austin area(They are based just north of Austin) and I've seen plenty of them shoot half MOA with hand loads in a competent shooter's hands. I've also seen lot of guys who have more money than sense with them...

    Tikka in 7mm08 question

7mm 168 Grain Match VLD Target This is not specific to an Amax, but berger recommends 1 in 10 or more for their 168 grain VLD bullet. Based on this, I would say that 1 in 9.5 is perfectly acceptable.

    Muzzle Brake for .308???

It depends on if you spot your own shots without one. I have a brake on my Savage 308 and I can spot my shots down 100 yards with a 24X scope.

Can a Savage be made into a competent tactical gun?

Top shooters get sponsored or are gun smiths themselves which is why they all have Surgeons and defiance actions. If I had the ability to shoot well enough to get the PRS finals with a semi stock savage or remington, I bet you one of the top builders would offer me a sponsorship and I would be...

    Tactical Rifles.net

To be fair to their unsuspecting customers, there have been some flattering reviews on other sites such as Tactical Rifles M40T4 - Sniper Central. I have no doubt that TR has produced some great shooting rifles(look at all the instances of $600 factory rifles that happen to shoot .5 moa). I also...
