Slowing down the db force solves alot of issues with these systems.
Some years back I tried out a hydro buffer with a tubb 308 flat wire and never looked back. It is soft and mimics the feel of my buddies mpx, and just easier on all parts overall.
Can't blame them, IL is not friendly to anything 2A. Craddock, Manticore, now WOA, just waiting for RRA to pull out next. Sad to see.
Hopefully they will be unburdened by what has been.
I've been running a T2 for well over a decade without any issue whatsoever, bumped and dinged but still on zero and fires right up.
Have a few SRO on sbrs and pistols but not nearly as much use as the t2.
No complaints about either.
Bitter out last night, dipped down into double negatives with howling winds, warm and comfy in the shooting shack tho.
Caught a single making his way to the sheep pen. 22br took care of the rest.
I grabbed up another 457 in 22lr as a walking setup as well, carrying an 18lb rimx thru the woods doesn't sound like a good time.
Trying to keep this one on a reasonable budget. I feel SFP would suit my need better on this one as well.
Been taking a hard look at this one...
No reloading..I've been having a hoot lately with some tuned up magnum rimfires as well.
Have to throw on the muffs for those but again....shoot all day, no reloading.
An expander mandrel or expander ball will size *expand* an undersized neck that has been thru a sort of sizing die or when the neck is already under the desired diameter.
A bushing will size down a fired or pre expanded neck by squeezing in.
Generally it is not needed to do both...
