I'm fairly sure that actions are made to be dry torqued as every time I have seen something that was to be oiled prior to torquing it was specified that it was a wet torque.
The other side is I'm not sure how close they are running to yield, but if I remember correctly a lower torque value wet...
The bolt handle is threaded, but I believe its a different thread pitch then normal. I don't have a pair of calipers where I am to get a diameter right after the threads, but its a standard #5 contour which should put it about 0.7".
Action has been super smooth. Smoothest one that I have been able to work. Haven't had any issues with feeding from the included 5rd and the 10rd magazines that I bought seperately, both are Magpul's.
I put an Area 419 on mine and it fit really good. I did have to shorten one screw slightly as it went into the area between the stock and the barrel, but a quick hit with a dremel and all was good.
Anyone that is still looking for one, Interstate Arms has them in stock. Also, looking at putting a ATACR 5-25x56 F1 on mine and was looking to see if anyone knows which NightForce rings to run with them on a NightForce 20 MOA base?
Still going back and forth between a PRO when they get released or a regular HMR. What does the floating bolt head give you that isn't there in a standard non-floating bolt head?
