    Gunsmithing Hart rifle barrel with .342 neck?

    My rifle just got returned from Hart. It is a 308. The barrel is stamped .342 Neck. I know this must tell me somthing about the neck size for the neck on the ammo, but I do not know what it is telling me to do? Also I have the VSL 308 take off barrel. Low round count. didn't shoot very well...
