Does anyone have a blueprint showing the location of the side mount iron sight holes for the Rem 700?
Once upon a time Remington sold their 700s with two holes drilled and tapped into the side of the action to allow customers to mount peep sights. I'm hoping to find a print showing the locations and dimensions of these holes so that I can have them installed on other Rem 700 footprint actions...- SingleshotFredd

Gunsmithing Idiot or miss something (trigger install) UPDATE
I am trying to install an older rem factory trigger in an SPS tactical. X-Mark trigger came out fine..... When I go to put the rear pin in it is taking WAY to much force. I got it done, but now the bolt takes WAY to much force to close. Again, I got it done, but trigger wouldn't fire anyway...- ker2222

I think I might be an idiot.
So my new rifle is complete, except for the ST-10 that is on order from US Optics. It's a Remy 700 SPS Tac in .308 with a B&C Medalist Stock, Williams bottom metal, and an EGW 20 MOA base. Obviously, I'm dying to shoot this thing. But I know I'm going to be waiting a few months for the USO...- Jimmy2Times
