Optic for 500 YD with 556
Evening! I am working on a semi budget 556 build. Anderson lower/ upper 20”, magpul bipod, CAA SRS monopod stock. I’ve got a rickety Amazon illuminated 3-9 on it now. What would be the best preferably sub $500 scope and 5.56-.223 round for 500 yards? Cheers- Dotonthehill

300 PRC build using R700 LA
I'm trying to get started on a 300 PRC build. I have an R700 in 300 win mag whose action I would like to convert and use as the base for this build. I know its possible with some gunsmith modifications, but I'm wondering if anyone has actually done it and if so, what the results were. Thanks...- cool_potato
