    Rifle Scopes Spray the Optic?

    So I'm not made of money but I did however saved up enough to pick me up a S&B 5-25. It's that desert tan color but my rifle is black. I thought about and was wondering would spraying your optic really hurt the value? Even so how would I even go about doing that with out hurting the optics...
