    Optical weirdness?

Good day all, I noticed after mounting my Zeiss lrp s3 that the windage part of the reticle appears to be curving on the ends? The scope is currently on the middle of its travel & I’ve never seen this in any other scope any thoughts? Thank you.

    One-piece bases for PRS/NRL

I’m just starting to dip my toes into the long range/PRS/NRL hunter world. All of my hunting rifles have either talley or dmz one-piece base/ring setups. I’m planning to get a scope with a 34mm tube and will need some new rings. All of the setups I’ve seen online run a pic rail and rings. I...

Scope and rail are too close, problem?

Hello all! ,I mounted a Zeiss V4 to my ext mountain tactical rail but the objective comes bloody close to the rail. I Filed off some material so I’m able to get a thick sheet of paper through. Is that good enough? Or will the recoil cause them to touch? Cartridge is .308, thank you.

Eotech Vudu 5-25X50mm main tube length??

Hello, I am hoping that someone with a Vudu 5-25 can help clear up a question. What is the main-tube length. I need to choose a mount that will fit. Eotech did not include this dimension online. I am leaning towards a ADM Recon with the minimum height required to mount on an AR platform.

Rifle Scopes Trying to 'understand' what scope mount to use

This is the first high end scope I've mounted on a rifle. The scope is a Schmidt & Bender 3-20x50 PMII. For reference, the diameter of the objective lense with a scope cap is just over 60mm. It's going on a Daniel Defense DD5V5. I've done countless searches, and it seems like everytime I find...

Rifle Scopes My inexpensive way of leveling scopes when mounted. (with pics)

I recently had to re-mount & level my 1-4 vortex scope on my DPMS 3G1, so I figured I would share my technique for making sure your scope is 100% dead nuts level. I'm not saying this is what you should do, this is just what I do to make sure my scopes are tip top. You will feel a little play...
