    This is my first post, tried the search and nothing. I wanted to get your opinions on 6.8 SPC as a hunting round for primarily pig and deer. What do you guys know about the round ballistics wise? Thanks

    .22 cal wildcat from 6.8 SPC

    Picked up a 6.8 Rem SPC case at the range recently. Neat little case. Seemed to me if it was necked down to .22 cal it would be a nice compromise between the .223 Rem and .22-250 Rem. More velocity than a .223, but easier on barrels than a .22-250. I assume this has been done already...

    Photos 6.8 SPC Carbine

    VLTOR and YHM furniture on a Bushmaster AR chambered in 6.8 SPC. Leupold Mk4 2.5-8x36 in a LaRue SPR mount, chip mccormick drop in single stage trigger, kns pins, ergo grips. The p-mag is for the photo, I didn't have any 6.8 mags to show off except for a 5rd c-products.

    Can I attach a 6.8 SPC upper to my regular Rock River LAR-15 Lower and not worry about cycling issues? I want to acquire a 6.8 SPC upper and it be interchangable with the lower receiver that I already have. Is this possible?

    Hunting & Fishing Anyone used 6.8 SPC on deer?

    Has anyone used the 6.8 spc cartridge for deer hunting? I curious to know (a) does the bullet hold together well enough to penetrate to the vitals at close range, and (b) does the cartridge have enough for longer shots, say out to 600 yds? Left to right: 6.8, 223 and 7.62x39

    Remington 700 6.8 SPC Brass Specific?

    Maybe this has been answered. But I can't find any solid information. Can you use 6.8 brass with small rifle primers in Rem.700? I'm almost positive that the answer is no. But seeing as how it's hard to locate brass right now, I'm up for suggestions.
