    Rifle Scopes sun shade for Vortex Viper 6.5-20x50

    Does anyone know what sun shade tube fit the Vortex Viper 6.5-20x50 scope? Also, who sells it? Apparently, I tried the 50 mm objective sun shade tube from my Leupy and the threading doesn't fit. Any help is appreciated.

    Just curious, if shooting from shaded cover mostly, is the sun shade necessary? Will glare be more of an issue with it off?
