    Gunsmithing Patches. I have these synthetic ones, what is best

    I'm just using the synthetic square patches that came with cleaning kits. But I see knit ones, cotton ones, etc. Which cleaning patch material is goodest. ha ha

    rem 788 synthetic stock

    I've got a 788 in 308 and its my fav hunting stick but I'd like to put a synthetic stock on it and so far all I've found is a black ramline. does anybody know of anyone else makeing one for it as the ramline is pretty junky.

    Remington Synthetic Varmit

    Local dealer has a Rem 700 in .308. It is fitted with a brownish/tan synthetic stock (sales person said it was made by HS Percision). Barrel is 26" and fluted. Can't seem to find anything about the rifle on the Remington web site. Any input is appreciated. Be Safe
