My defiance tenacity action came to me with a sticker on the box that said “picitanny rail is torqued to 20 in/lbs and NO loctite applied”
I’m getting mixed answers on how tight the screws are supposed to be torqued, and also , is it necessary to remove rail and put blue loctite on the screws...
What is the recommended torque value for the two action screws on a GA Precision FBI rifle? It’s a Templar action bedded in a McMillan A3-5 stock.

I decided to make this for anybody looking for information about torque for Spuhr QD scope mounts.
Spuhr recommends 5Nm / 44inlb for the rail mounting screws.
I have a Hazet 0.6 to 9Nm adjustable torque wrench and I have few times tried torquing it higher than what I am using it now.
So...
Ive got a rem700 that I need to tourq into my mcrees chassis, the base and scope into rings. Should I take it to a gunsmith or is this something I can do with vehicle tourqe renches that are in inch pounds?
