No yellow footprints to show, but there is this,

    Hey Frank, a couple questions.

At the bottom of the second picture, the 'card' has a list of "U/E". For us great unwashed, what does that stand for?

Also, for pics of the past, do you have any of Bruce Robinson anymore? Is it still 'his' range? Blast from the past, eh?

The training schedule is the second picture

The U/E is nothing just a code for where to arrive, I don't remember the exact phrasing but U is the schoolhouse, other locations have different letters telling us where to go, There is, PT for our physical training that means meet out there, G for the Armory to draw weapons, it's just a lame code that makes no sense

    IMG_0237.JPG

But the code doesn't mean anything really just references

    The 240 is mine, I had a 240 and 260z

The Bruce Robinson Range is Badlands isn't it ? The only reference to Bruce Robinson I know is from Oklahoma ?

My Dad had a 280 with a 350 in it

I might have a picture of it he loved to stick small blocks where they didn't belong

Let me see if I have it

Back in High School I used to take his Vega with a 302 in it, I had Repair plates until after the USMC so I would switch cars all the time,

    My first car was this

drove the black Ramcharger in the background too, it had a 440 in it

    LOL

We slept but at least once a week you had a no sleep schedule,

Most days were 6 AM to 6 PM

    IMG_0238.jpg

This is typical, the only time you had really long day is when at 6 PM they issued a TEWT to complete

    Tactical
    Exercise
    Without
    Troops

You had to write a paper overnight which averaged 30 pages playing war games as a sniper just in writing

The level of training never ceases to amaze me and what our guys at the top levels endure. Even thinking of just 0311 stuff now makes me laugh.

Thank you to all who undertake the training so the rest of can sleep well.

And if you see in the schedule,

Any time it says, Test #,

Like it says Range Est Test #1 or Concealment Exercise #1,

If you fail any of those, twice, any one of the tests, you are out. Two Concealments, gone, Two Range Est, gone

That is why the attrition rate is so high,

    Fail two land navs, gone,
