Looking to put a Octane 45 on a Lage 9mm Mac upper threaded 1/2-28

Would like to use a 3 lug

Does anyone make the male 3 lug in 1/2-28 that would fit a 45ac03 lug can ?

I doubt the internal clearance will fit. Most of them explicitly state they won’t work for 45 though. I’m headed to a gun shop in a few and I’ll ask around. If they have one, I’ll see if they can measure clearance and maybe get some pics

    Will it ?
Yes, here is a 9mm 3-lug and .45 3-lug. Each will screw into the back of either suppressor.
    I used to use a .45 can with a 9mm 3-lug.

I think most vendors are using the same threads on the tubes. I personally have used SilencerCo, Griffin Armament and Rugged interchangeably with no issues. It doesn't have to be a SilencerCo adapter to work.

A 45 cal 3 lug and a 9mm 3 lug are different sizes. You can either get a a 9mm 3 lug adapter and screw that into your suppressor (I'm pretty sure the octane is hub threads so most will fit), or get a 1/2-28 to 5/8-24 thread adapter and a 45 cal 3 lug muzzle device.

I wouldn't use 3 lug. Wouldn't bother even researching that, and yes I own a 3 lug but I don't use it ever.

Probably the best thing is to get a Griffin EZ Lok. Please note that Cam Lok and EZ Lok are not the same.

    I can just direct thread.

But 3 lug is cooler. And won’t unscrew.

If worrying about 3 lug looseness can get that bixler or whatever that locks on

Actually it's not even a similar thing to direct thread. Do you know what EZ Lok actually is and what it does?

    Seems proprietary and gay
As far as I know they are made for dozens of different suppressor companies. It's not at all proprietary in the sense that it can only be used for one brand of suppressor.

What it does do: it's more secure than 3 lug and direct thread. It also helps avoid constantly taking apart the suppressor, with limited exceptions. For example if you have a 45 can, those barrels have their own thread types. 9mm has its own as well including several other options depending on what gun or brand it is. So you can have 5 different guns all with unique thread pitches on each barrel and never have to take the suppressor apart to move the can from host to host.

Probably the only exception is if you have a fixed barrel in the mix, but other than that you can move from host to host in just a few seconds.

It is also more secure than any 3 lug. It is also much more secure than any direct thread.

Again though, if you are moving the suppressor back and forth from a fixed barrel to one needing a Nielsen Device it probably won't have a lot of advantages.

Now all that being said, the only thing gay here is your bitch ass attitude. I'm out. I have zero interest in dealing with this type of bullshit. The block button is in use.

If it fits the Octane 9 yes

FYI, I can't hear the difference between a 9mm and .45 end cap, doubt you will be able to tell the difference either.

If you forget to switch back to .45 end cap and shoot 45, you will destroy the end cap and may damage the tube as well.

I'm seeing a whole lot of incorrect information in here...

I'd be willing to bet that these are just like the Rugged Obsidian 3-lug mounts. BOTH the 9mm and .45 version will fit in BOTH their 9mm and .45 suppressors (same mounting on the back on the cans). The difference being what caliber host weapon you're shooting it on. The .45 tri-lug mount has a larger internal diameter and will wobble around if used on a 9mm weapon, and can cause a baffle strike...Or worse. Which is why they make a 9mm version, that is spec'd to the H&K MP5 tri-lug, so it fits really nice and snug and there is minimal play to avoid any wobble or baffle strikes. I run a Rugged 9mm Tri-Lug mount in my Obsidian 45 can, and use it on my H&K MP5. Absolutely perfect and flawless fit, with minimal wobble...Just like it's supposed to be.
