A British sniper killed a Taliban leader with the longest-ever fatal bullet shot in Afghanistan - from nearly TWO KILOMETRES away.

He admits he missed the first one but was so far away, the guy didn't even know he was being shot at.

Sorry if this isn't in the right spot.

I wish they hadn't published so much information about this guy and his family, doesn't really make sense.

This has been corrected (later in thread) to note that it was only reported as the longest shot and not close to the real record of 2,430 meters.
