Rifle Scopes +1 leupold cust service re defect in mark4 e/rt m5

i just got this new and i am wondering if anyone else has had the problem i found with this leupold scope. both the elevation & windage knobs are in .1 mil markings [the reticle is mils also/horus h 27 version, ie: mil/mil as i ordered]5 mils per revolution on both knobs, however the number clicks [which are good and firm] are 6 clicks for each .5 mil, ie: instead of 10 clicks per mil, <span style="font-weight: bold">i am consistently getting 12 clicks per mil</span>.[and this is throughout the range of travel both above to the top and below to the bottom of my zero on the elevation knob]. <span style="font-weight: bold">i am also getting 12 clicks per mil on the windage knob.</span> i am wondering if they messed up at the factory and put mil knobs on a scope with moa internals?? any feedback here would be helpful for when i call leupold tomorrow morning. thanks in advance!

It sounds to me like your clicks are in 1/4 moa. Kinda sorta.

thanks guys i plan to send it back after i call them tomorrow am, i also suspect i have mil knobs on moa turrets..all feedback is welcome!

good news to report here, i spoke with steve at leupold tactical optics, they are shipping me a new scope tomorrow to replace mine, best guess is that it has parts for the 6.5 x 20 scope & that is why it has the click issue, seems like a mistake in production. steve was very responsive and called me back confirming the above 2 hours after i first called him today.
