10/22 and Athlon Argos BTR 6-24x50

Newbie question here. Trying to get started in the .22 PRS game and question about mounting an Athlon Argos 4-26x50. Have it on a 10/22 with 20moa rail and only have 8 mils of adjustment up. I am doing something wrong or just not a good scope to run? Says it has 18 mils of total adjustment. Just looking for advice. Thanks

You have roughly 60 MOA total travel. 8 mils useable is roughly 27 MOA.

It's like your not getting any actual bias from the rail. Are you sure it's actually a 20 MOA rail or just a flat one? You should by eye be able to see the rear of the rail is thicker than the front. Thick end should be at the rear btw....don't mount it backwards.

If all is mounted right and components are as advertised....it means your 10/22 is the cculprit. Which isn't end of the world. They are shit quality guns and shouldn't be used in PRS22/NRL22 anyway.
