I have a 10-22 magnum that I have placed a butler creek barrel on. I am having some signs of pressure issues. The bottom 16 of the brass is bulging in a perfect round shape. My gun feeds them accuratley and eject perfectly fine. The gun shoots .5 to .75 inch groups.

any way to stop this

also if I thread the barrel could I use my 223 suppressor on this,,,,,

Could be a chamber issue, do you have a chamfer on the face of the chamber? Clean and polish your chamber, maybe that will help. Could also be timing. If you are having presure problems, I don't think a suppressor would be advisable...Bottle neck cartridges and blowback actions are a delicate balance... That's exactly what I ended up doing. Love my VQ.

That being said, I'm still going to try the same thing with a Magnum Research 22 WMR I just got. I'll just have to figure out the barrel porting size/location as MR doesn't have a tungsten bolt.
