So I'm looking to upgrade my PA 1-6x LPVO to something with better glass and better 1x. There are a lot of options in the ~$1000 range and I've read several threads on here and a good amount of praise for the PLx 1-8x. But I've seen almost no mention of the Riton X7 Tactix that seems like a good contender. I love the ACSS reticle, but the Riton reticle looks like a good setup and the 28mm may mean more light over the PA's 24mm. Both appear to be LOW glass. I've heard the Riton turrets aren't amazing, but for an LPVO on a "fighting carbine" the turrets are rarely used compared to a precision shooting optic. Both would be an obvious upgrade from my low-teir PA 1-6x, but my optics knowledge is in its fledgling stages so I was hoping some of you could have some input.
The Goal is a LPVO with as good of a 1x as possible in the $1000 price range to go on my lightweight 5.56 rifle
