120gr 6mm VLD

Has anyone heard any news about a 120gr 6mm VLD in the works. Don't know if it was just rumor, but I read on another board (think it was 6mmbr) that it would have a projected G1 BC of .7

Anyone care to comment or squelch this before I get my hopes up....

If 120gr pills might be coming out in the future I wonder if a 7.5 twist will stabilize it.

I haven't heard/read anything on the 120 subject yet. But I think a G1 of 7 would be a little high simply based off of the existing 115-117 (with .545-.553 g1's) bullets. G1 in the higher .5's to a .6 would seem more likely.

Agreed on the BC, I can't imagine that it would jump that high. Was just passing along what I had read.

Does anyone know why the 117gr bullets didn't do well; was it due to bullet failure? Is bullet failure the reason the 6mm doesn't have any bullets heavier than the 115? I know the case can push a heavier pill...
