Cruising the edge of the orchard this am and we spotted this gal at 291+ yards up hill at about 60 degrees up angle.
At the shot she rolled down about 30 yards, and piled up.
The 130 hunting VLD left a fist sized hole on the off side shoulder.
I was using my Rbros Rogue action rifle chambered in 6.5x47Lapua, Gemtec can and 130's at about 2950.
As you can see I wasn't dressed for success and it took my fat ass 45 minutes using hands and feet for the climb :)

A view to the truck, I'm thinking "I still have to go back down!?"

Great pics.

I always try to hunt with younger guys now.

You can always send them up the hill!

I'm loading my 260 with the 130 Bergers for coyote hunting. How was the pelt after the shot?
