Minus a trigger but here it is, my newest build. It's a 15 Second Rifle (.25moa) I have it on very good authority that the paint job alone will make it so

Re: 15 Second Rifle

All that work and the bolt handle ended up on the wrong side. What kind of QC is that???

Good looking rifle otherwise.

I see what you did there DRAM40A1...self-fulfilling prophesy.

Am I wrong to assume that west coast flair might have been poolside at one point? What contour is the Bartlein?

A little further west of the pool (90210) It's a LV Taper.

Everyone knows that camo cuts the groups in half!

Nice work.

First, nothing wrong with the Badger DBM, it's just not for me. The magazine release is located in the center of the trigger guard, in front of it. The mags also seem kinda stiff going in as well. I've seen too many skinned index fingers after a lengthy match with numerous mag changes. To change the magazine I know you could use a finger tip instead of the back of your index finger but, in speed drills with mag changes you seem to take the shortest most direct route in mag changes. The index finger, between the first two knuckles, seems to be the chosen method. The Surgeon mag release is ambidextrous (so is the Badger by design) and can be worked with the finger tip while behind the rifle from either side. It holds the AI magazine snug while allowing an easier, quicker mag change. I wasn’t sure how I'd like the Surgeon at first but after fingering it for a while, I love it and would recommend it to anyone.

It's close to the M5. I had to open the sides slightly, less taper, more straight.

Thanks.

Maybe the .284 gods won't frown too much on me.
