This is my best grouping by far with this rifle and may not be able to duplicate. Hopefully I can. Im not a huge fan of groups and would rather shoot steel. Groupings are for load developing only. Thanks for lookin.

Negative sir. No crimp. On my once fired lapua's the powder is settle just below the neck line. After I have the powder dispensed in my cases on the loading block I give it a few taps on the side to settle the powder down into the case.

I've got some similar loads with 168 amaxs ready to go for tommorow, but my OAL is 2.9". I hope to find a node up there in that range in my LTR.

Watch your coal. The closer you seat to the lands the more pressure you will obtain.

Negative on the 120degree day. Since I dont get that kind of weather around here I think Im ok. Ive shot this load plenty in the 90's with no pressure issues. Guess I didnt state this isnt a new load of mine I was just basically testing the RB trigger. I think it made a difference from factory 4lb trig.

Unfortunately at 2.9 I'm still a long way from the lands in this gun. Im actually testing 4 other powders tommorow mostly r15, but seeing that group from a factory tube makes me glad I have 8# varget on the way. Good shootin!

Re: 168amax 47gVarg @200yds

Youll like R15. I use Varget and RL15 exclusively in my rifle with great results. With RL15 give 43.3 grains a try of course after youve worked up slowly to it. Good accuracy but low velocity out of 20inch barrel.
