Do you guys know, is the CCI gamepoint ammo available in US?
In Finland it is out from every where, and importer do not have it stock at this year no more.
Best hunting ammo for eatable game in CCI line.

So there might be some kind of problems on CCI, to produce that bullet.
I had a CZ 455 Varmint, that ammo was best for hunting and accuracy as well.
How does those 100% copper ammo´s work in 17HMR?
Im not sure, is CCI also only one who make´s those for 17HMR.
Have not seen other brands.

I have a Savage and I can hit p-dogs in the skull at 150 yards all day long.
Oh and I only shoot Hornady.

My Savage G93R17 was inexpensive, has a threaded barrel and shoots one hole at 50 yd with the ammo below that was developed for the gun. I don’t have a target in my pics at 100 or beyond and honestly can’t recall how well it did. It’s not gonna have the weight or feel of a PRS gun to train with though.

If you have the cash, buy that Anschutz with the straight-pull action ($3800-ish). I like CZ, have a bunch, but for HMR I bought a T-bolt and Jard trigger. Always wanted a straight-pull.

I’ve got the Anschutz Fortner 1727F you mention. It was very expensive unfortunately, but it’s outrageously accurate with CCI 17gr TNT’s. Love it, accurate enough to kill pigs and all sorts of large mammals at 100+ that it probably shouldn’t. 17gr in the brain box is as good as 170gr if placed properly.
We have a couple 17HMR TS Customs builds in stock. Amazing rifles. We have 17WSM also, if you're looking for better terminal performance and some more range.

It was been but since last year there has been hardly any 17 hmr at all. Hornady Vmax is all Ive seen since the madness started. My gun likes the CCI TNT the best. Gamepoints and FMJ were usually more consistent that the Vmax stuff though.
Id say whatever your brand of choice, get a heavy barrel version and a decent optic to really enjoy the accuracy this round is capable of. If I was going to get one I would look at the CZ 455 American combo. Then get me the varmint .17 hmr barrel.
I have a pile of 17HMR ammo. Anyone that gets a rifle can buy as much as they want.
I think i send question to CCI.
Do they have a problems on the product line.
Game point is the best for hunting eatable game.
