$2500 Antique, shipped to your door where legal, know your state laws. This is a vintage Marlin 1881 in 40-60 Marlin, also known as 40-65 Winchester (they are the same cartridge). I'll include 50 pieces of brass. Produced 1884. You can see me shooting this rifle at 100 yards on these videos on YouTube. 250 g cast bullet loaded with pyrodex RS. Gun is all original and untouched with the exception of the modern tang rear sight. Dark bore, strong lands and grooves, minimal pitting. Front sight is windage adjustable with flip up post with pinhead or ivory bead (King?). 100% mechanically fine as you can see in the videos. Double set trigger is perfect, with set trigger letting off at 15 ounces and forward trigger letting off at 3 pounds. Long barrel at 30". Stock is solid with no cracks and original finish. The forearm does have several holes on the bottom that looks like once had brass tacks. Extraction and ejection is positive. Spring loaded loading gate works fine. Guaranteed or your money back for any reason, less shipping.
