does anyone know of a good resource to identify makers marks on 1907 slings?
I tend to come across a few but this one came on my 1903A3.

Post a photo over at US Militaria Forum. That'sthe bastion of knowledge regarding all things US field gear incl. 1907 WWI and WWII slings. IMHO if that's the only mark on the sling, it's likely commercial or foreign, not US. There was an inspector with initials JC but that's not what his stamp looked like.
