As the title says, I am curious if anyone has been able to load the long 190 grain Berger VLD bullet in an AICS magazine for .308 cal. I have been using 168 and 178 amax for target shooting, but would like to try these for hunting at longer ranges, since I am not sure about the terminal performance of the amaxes.
Also, how exactly do you make sure the bullet touches the rifling when you load it? Does this length still work in the AICS mags?
