I've just been useing an OWB for my 1911 for two days that I got from Overland Gunleather. I was lucky enough to find a lefty on Adam's "ready to ship" page and like I told a fellow Hide member (GardDog) that recommended him, I didn't know what good leather was until now. Top quality, perfect fit, comforable, affodable and attractive. I never had to wait over 20 min. for an e-mail response from him, great service.
Try Don at El Paso Saddlery .He makes some excellent rigs also one off customs can be ordered. I have 3 of his rigs and they are all serious custom rigs. My 1911 full-size is my everyday CCW rig, it can be worn all day without discomfort or constant readjustments. Well worth the look.
I carry my 1911 in a milt sparks watch six. It's not one of their high end holsters, but its worked great for what I needed. I've got a Comp-Tac for my Sig an probably like the kydex option a little better since it gets hot in Texas during the summer and kydex won't soak up sweat.

+1
I just bought the Sig Scorpion Carry 1911 which will take a few months to get to me and a few days later I bought the Milt Sparks Versa Max 2. The holster is the best quality IWB holster on the market but it comes with patience. Get something temporary for the wait, but do not hesitate to check out Milt Sparks.
If you can't find a Milt Sparks VM2, another high quality option is the TT Gunleather IWB. I use the MS, but, keep the TT Gunleather for the next 1911 I'm sure I'll end up with in the future. It's really nice and very well made.
