Headspace has nothing to do with seating depth, it's the measurement of the datum line on the case.

Well thats my biggest fear. Im cutting my cases to 2.005" and Im just owrried if I dont seat the bullet in far enough, they may be a little loose and a heavy hitting recoil may screw them up in the mag.

for a bolt gun you are OK.that is if you do not want to mag feed.for me I load to 2.800 because I have a 5R and thats the sweet spot for this rifel.if the C.O.A.L. that you are useing is giveing you the best then stick with it.if not play around till yo find it.JMO

Mine are longer than that in my chamber.

I doubt you'll have to worry about the magazine, I've yet to see one long enough for a round that long.
