Basic Handling skills (loading, reloading techniques, press-checks, malfunction clearing)
BRM Review (Basic Rifle Marksmanship)
Accuracy drills - "Let's hit the target first."
Zeroing - Where to zero for your particular platform and sight system, and why
Equipment choices
Properly organizing and laying out your loadout
Stance, presentation, maintaining SA and control before, during, and after target engagement
Ready positions, escalating levels of alertness
Multidirectional engagement drills from both standing and kneeling
Shooting positions, including Urban/Rice Paddy/SBU/Rollover prone variations
Making the most of cover
Developing effective handling skills
Effective cornering with a carbine
Rapid Engagement drills
Retention and Disarmament considerations with long arms
Transitioning to support side, and making it work
Shooting effectively on the move
Engaging moving targets
